HISTORY
While some are just becoming familiar with the name "Delazure," this company has impressive roots and enjoys an accomplished and formidable history.
Originally founded as the Visual Arts Production Company, under the instruction of Donald Jenness, VAPCO competed, often as finalists or semi-finalists, in numerous local, regional and national competitions. Most recently, VAPCO was the 2006 Tournament Indoor Association (TIA) Independent A All Chapter Champion.
Reborn as Delazure (translation "of the blue" and reflective of the Blue Hens of the University of Delaware), it is like the storied phoenix, rising to take the floor in 2008. With a new creative team and a renewed spirit, Delazure will be a name that will be impossible to forget.
